Biography/Description of Work

Composer, orchestra conductor and pianist, Bernstein conducted the New York Philharmonic and composed many popular Broadway theatrical musicals, including “West Side Story,” “Candide” and “On The Town.”  He lived on Fox Run Road in Redding, moving to Fairfield in 1964.
