Description of Significance/Historical Narrative
Originally built as the clubhouse for the town's Buena Vista Golf Club, the building is a contributing resource in the Buena Vista Local Historic District. It now serves as the West Hartford Art League's Clubhouse Gallery, one of three historic buildings in the district used by the West Hartford Art League; the others are the 18th century Stanley-Woodruff-Allen House (also at 37 Buena Vista Road) and 19th century Old West School (at 87 Mountain Road).
