Gertrude Nason spent summers in a farmhouse, now gone, near Tiffany Farms. The farm buildings were the subject of some of her landscape paintings.

Description of Significance/Historical Narrative
One of the most important farms in Lyme and one of the few that continues in agricultural use. The scenic character of the farm has formed the subject matter of numerous artists from the late 19th century through the 20th century.
