Peter Good rented space in the barn during the 1970s and his work during this time established his reputation as a graphic designer.

Description of Significance/Historical Narrative
The Harron Homestead in the 1820s, then the home of Michael Looby for many years. Style was changed from Cape Cod to gambrel when David Joslow converted it to a small office building in the late 1960s. Home of the Pequot Press from late 1960s into the 1970s. A late 18th-century barn was moved from Killingworth to the site and converted to offices for the Press. Peter Good rented space for his design studio in the late 1970s until he purchased the Stone Store building.
